Tammy Louise (Gipe) Berger, age 64, of Lemoyne, and formerly of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2026. Tammy was born on Tuesday, April 3, 1962, in Harrisburg to the late Samuel Harrison Gipe, Sr. and Patricia Lee (Bordner) Gipe. In addition to her parents, Tammy is preceded in death by her brothers, Michael Gipe Sr., Jeffrey Gipe and Samuel Gipe, Jr.

Tammy’s survivors include her husband of 25 years, Paul "David" Berger of Lemoyne; her three children: Dawn Grimaldi and husband, Jason, of New Cumberland, Patricia "Patty" Mascelli and husband, James, of Mechanicsburg, Edward "Eddy" Barilla and significant other, Jennifer Miller, of Carlisle; her eight grandchildren: Natalie, Gabrielle Mae, Jailyn, Paige, Dakota, Gabrielle Rose, Tahlia, and Christopher; her three great-grandchildren: Christian, Miles and Genevive; her three siblings: Jessica Hoffman and husband, Doug, of Newville, William Gipe of Mechanicsburg, and Troy Gipe and partner, Kenneth Troup, of Carlisle; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved canine: Benny.

Tammy found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Growing up watching her father and brothers race at Silver Spring Speedway in Mechanicsburg, she fostered a deep love for NASCAR, with Jeff Gordon as her favorite driver. Her passion for the sport mirrored her fierce devotion to her family. She could often be found cheering them on as she celebrated their victories both on and off the track.

Tammy dedicated her life to caring for others, always the first to offer support or a helping hand. She loved to babysit for family and friends, creating a warm and nurturing environment for children, where laughter and love flourished. Her generous spirit and kind heart will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.

Tammy’s family will be remembering her life privately. Cremation was private.
