Thomas Edward Reynolds

Thomas Edward Reynolds, age 85, of Mechanicsburg, died on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. Thomas was born on Thursday, January 4, 1940, in Philadelphia to the late Phillip Arnold Reynolds and Mildred Florence (Mills) Wessner. Thomas was the widower of Louella Mae (Starner) Reynolds, whom he married in 1959 and who died in 2003, and Carolyn Virginia (Stephenson) Reynolds, whom he married in 2004 and who died in 2022. In addition to his parents and wives, Thomas is preceded in death by his two children: Roxanne Hernandez, Michael Reynolds; and his two siblings: Arnold Reynolds, Margaret Modesto.

Thomas’s survivors include his daughter: Lora Allen and husband John, of Enola; his seven grandchildren: Justin, Randy, Steven, Alex, Emily, Jessica, Isaiah; his eight great-grandchildren: Kimber, Paylin, Daphne, Wesley, Nolan, Christopher, Mallory, Zoey, Conner; his brother: Kurt Wessner and wife Shannon of Pine Grove; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Thomas graduated from Pine Grove High School as part of the class of 2008. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Thomas retired from Nugent Sand Company in 1983 after many years of service working as a plant supervisor. He was a longtime active member of New Assembly Church of God. Thomas was an avid outdoorsman and gun enthusiast with a passion for hunting, fishing, and yard work, showcasing his green thumb. He was a devoted fan of Penn State Football and the Philadelphia Phillies. His interests also extended to cars and horses, and World War II history. Thomas enjoyed westerns and the films of John Wayne. Family was of utmost importance to Thomas, as he valued the time he spent with his loved ones.
