Ginny’s survivors include her two sons: Mark Rosnick and wife Anna of Shiremanstown, Jeffrey Rosnick and wife Jamie of Pittsburgh; her six grandchildren: Jason, Eric, Jennifer, Ashlea-Anne, Star, Kylin; her five great-granddaughters: Violet, Hailey, Avery, Charlotte, Persephone; and several nieces and nephews.

Ginny graduated from South Union High School as part of the class of 1948.  She was a proud homemaker who also worked outside the home for over 40 years in retail pharmacies; starting at Rea & Derick which became People’s Drug Store, and finally CVS Pharmacy.  Ginny helped her son Mark get his first job at Rea & Derick when he was 16.  Standing at 4’ 11”, Ginny told him two things that left a lasting impression:  “Do not embarrass me and show up when you are scheduled.”  Ginny was a member of St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mechanicsburg, where she participated in the women’s group.  She volunteered for many years with Meals on Wheels.  Ginny also belonged to a sorority for 50 years and played cards in a club with her friends.  Ginny knew everyone and everyone knew Ginny, and she will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Ginny’s immediate services will be private with public services to be announced when scheduled.  Private interment in St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery in Mechanicsburg will be held at the family’s convenience.
