Barbara “Barb” Ann (Beyers) Hoch

Barbara “Barb” Ann (Beyers) Hoch, age 78, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023.  Barb was born on Thursday, December 7, 1944, in Pittsburgh to the late Cloyde Fischer Beyers and Myrl Suzanne (McCutcheon) Beyers.  Barb was the widow of Harold “Howie” Lee Hoch, whom she married on December 14, 1982, and who died on June 2, 2017.

Barb’s survivors include her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Barbara graduated from Cedar Cliff High School as part of the class of 1962.

All are welcome to join Barb’s family at her celebration of life open house and gathering of family and friends on Friday, March 31, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a celebration of life at 12:30 p.m. at Buhrig’s Gathering Place, 25 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055, (717) 766-3421 (next to Buhrig Funeral Home & Crematory).  Over 100 parking spaces are available; just look for the “Buhrig” parking signs in all of the parking lots.  Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville at the family’s convenience.  Cremation was private.

The family sends their most heartfelt thanks to the entire staff at Silver Spring Personal Care who so lovingly cared for Barb during her residency.
