Beverly Ann McGee, age 65, of New Kingstown, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2022.  Beverly was born on Thursday, August 2, 1956, in Toledo, OH to the late Leonard McGee and Shirley (Tremmel) McGee.

Beverly’s survivors include her loving companion of many years, Parker Ebert Ohrum; her two children: Sara Lynn Rudy and her significant other, Marty Beatson, of Sumter, SC and Michael “Mike” Wayne Ohrum of Mechanicsburg; and her beloved granddaughter, Skylar Wilson.

Beverly graduated from high school in 1974.  She retired from OverStock.com, after years of working in the warehouse.  In her spare time, Beverly loved reading, crossword puzzles and gardening.  She enjoyed cooking and baking, especially around Thanksgiving and Christmas, and liked to listen to Frank Sinatra Christmas songs while doing so.  Beverly was known to have a sharp wit and was not afraid to use it.  The biggest joy in her life was her granddaughter, Skylar.  Family was everything to Beverly.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

All are welcome to join Beverly’s family at her celebration of life open house and gathering of family and friends on Saturday, June 4, 2022, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a time of remembrance at 1:30 p.m. at Buhrig’s Gathering Place, 25 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055, (717) 766-3421 (next to Buhrig Funeral Home & Crematory).  Over 100 parking spaces are available; just look for the “Buhrig” parking signs in all of the parking lots.  Cremation was private.
