Edna Rebecca (Eberly) Thrush

Edna Rebecca Thrush, age 92, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Services in Carlisle, after a battle with Alzheimers/Dementia and cancer.  She is resting and rejoicing in the eternal arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Edna was born on Sunday, December 8, 1929, in Upper Darby to the late Frank H. Eberly and Edna Rebecca (Muehling) Eberly.  She was a gracious and loving mother to her three boys: Allan L. Thrush and wife, Lynda, of Mechanicsburg, and their three children: Tracy L. Harper, Terri L. Cohee, and Gary A. Thrush; Larry P. Thrush and wife, Cindy, of Lakehills, Texas and their five children: Kevin Thrush, Kristy Hutchins, Jenny Patterson, Matthew Thrush, and Caleb Thrush; Mark N. Thrush of Idaho Falls, Idaho and his two children: Samuel Thrush and Sierra Thrush; her 21 great grandchildren; her two great-great grandchildren; and a loving sister to Elizabeth of Federal Way, Washington.

Edna is preceded in death by her parents, Frank H. Eberly and Edna Rebecca (Muehling) Eberly; her husband of 61 years, Norval Pemberton Thrush; six brothers; and a sister.

Edna was a member of the Discover Church (formerly Camp Hill Christian & Missionary Alliance Church) in Camp Hill.

Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, where her husband is interred.  Her funeral service will be private for family members and held at a future time and place, at the convenience of the family.
