(Hoover) Moore.  In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Jeffrey “Jeff” R. Beitzel; his brother, Charles W. Moore; and his sister, Sarah “Betty” Elizabeth Garman.

Bob graduated from Cumberland Valley High School as a part of the class of 1956, where he played as the quarterback on the football team.  He retired from Hutch Construction, after many years of service working as a carpenter.  Bob was such a talented builder, that he received a craftsmanship award at Home-A-Rama 1994.  He also loved to help his children build things and “supervise” as they worked.  Another favorite pastime of Bob’s was watching auto racing and working on race cars.  He was always outside and absolutely enjoyed sitting on the front porch.

The family sends their most heartfelt thanks to Kristan Culver and everyone with Homeland Hospice who so lovingly cared for Bob during his illness.
