Harry Roland Wynings, Jr., age 67, of Mechanicsburg, passed away at home on Thursday, May 28, 2020.  Harry was born on Sunday, March 15, 1953, in Berwick, PA, to the late Harry Roland Wynings, Sr. and Mary Edith (Gower) Wynings.

Harry’s survivors include his loving wife of 44 years, Ida Renay (Ritz) Wynings; his two children: Douglas “Doug” Logan Wynings and wife Lisa of King George, Virginia, Ida Danielle Elliott and husband Ryan, of North Pole, Alaska; his four beloved grandchildren: Michaela Elliot, Eric Elliott, Danielle Wynings, Logan Wynings; his five siblings: Terry Wynings and wife Angela of Berwick, PA, Cindy Shemesh of Bloomsburg, Tammy Davis and husband, Harry, of Williamsport, Randy Wynings and wife Peggy, of Hazelton, Bryan Wynings and wife Debra of Farmington, Minnesota; and several nieces and nephews.

Harry graduated from Berwick High School as part of the class of 1971.  He earned a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University in 1975 and held a master’s degree in Engineering Technology from Penn State University – Harrisburg.  Harry retired from Naval Sea Logistics in Mechanicsburg in 2011 after many years of service working as Director of Information Technology. Harry loved the outdoors.  He looked forward to every deer season and enjoyed hunting with his brother Terry and fishing for many of Pennsylvania’s native fish.

Harry’s family will be celebrating his life privately. Cremation was private.
