Her Family was Special to Her -

Joyce Joanne (Fitting) Trayer, age 77, of Mechanicsburg, died on Wednesday, April 22, 2020, peacefully at her home in Mechanicsburg.  She was born on Wednesday, February 3, 1943, to the late Jacob Fitting and Charlotte (Lehmer) Fitting.

Joyce’s survivors include her two sons: Jeffrey “Jeff” Trayer and his companion, Tina Stahl, of Loysville, James Trayer and his companion Becky, of Enola; her grandson Jeffrey and his companion Emily; and her three beloved great-grandchildren, Maddix, Kinsley, and Matthew.

Joyce was a 1961 graduate of Mechanicsburg High School.  She retired from the Navy Depot in Mechanicsburg, where she was an inventory control specialist, after 31 years of service.  She loved playing Bingo with her friends. She loved her cats and her dog, Kia.  Joyce was an awesome mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Joyce’s family will be remembering her life privately.  Interment in Mechanicsburg Cemetery will be at the family’s convenience.  Cremation was private.
