Leslie “Dan” Dwayne Andrick, age 67, of Dillsburg, and formerly of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2022.  Dan was born on Wednesday, March 30, 1955, in Petersburg, West Virginia to the late Leslie Pearl Andrick and Donna Dean (Bean) Andrick.

Dan’s survivors include his wife of 25 years, Jan (Paull) Andrick; his two step-sons: Barry Strayer of Lititz and Thomas Strayer of Mechanicsburg; and his extended West Virginia family.

Dan graduated from Mechanicsburg High School as part of the class of 1974 and attended Clarion University.  He retired from the Borough of Mechanicsburg Highway and Maintenance Department in 2017 after many years of service.  Dan was a member of the Mechanicsburg Club, VFW Post 6704 of Mechanicsburg and American Legion Post 26 of Dillsburg.  An avid athlete in high school, Dan participated and excelled in many sports.  In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and hunting.  Dan felt most comfortable in his camo and while on his fishing boat.  He will be dearly missed.

Dan’s family invites everyone to come celebrate his life and enjoy a meal at his open house on Monday, June 20, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Buhrig’s Gathering Place, 25 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055, (717) 766-3421 (next to Buhrig Funeral Home & Crematory); Over 100 parking spaces are available; just look for the “Buhrig” parking signs in all of the parking lots.  Cremation was private.

The family sends their most heartfelt thanks to all of Dan’s caregivers over the last year who so lovingly cared for him during his illness.
