Luke Anthony VanOrmer, Sr.

A Man of Strong Faith -

Luke Anthony VanOrmer, Sr., age 44, of Etters, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, February 17, 2020.  Luke was born on Tuesday, July 1, 1975 in Dallas, TX to Lawson “Le” Edward VanOrmer, Sr. and Donna Kay (Storzbach) Quill. Luke is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Edna VanOrmer; his maternal grandmother, Hazel Irene Storzbach; and his two brothers-in-law, Tony Keiser and Kenny Keiser.

Luke’s survivors include his wife of 26 years, Marsha Lee (Keiser) VanOrmer; his son: Luke A. VanOrmer, Jr.; his mother, Donna Kay (Storzbach) Quill and her husband, Paul, of Mechanicsburg; his father, Lawson “Le” VanOrmer, Sr. of Maryland; his two brothers: Lawson “Lee” VanOrmer, Jr. and his wife, Jen, of York, Adam VanOrmer and his wife, Kim, of Enola; and several nieces and nephews.

Luke was a soft-hearted, generous, fun-loving man who is deeply loved by his family and friends. He had an excitement and appreciation for life's little trinkets, was affectionate with animals, moved by music, and fascinated by anything with an engine or moving parts. He loved his wife and family, and especially loved his son, little Luke junior. He had faith in our Savior, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and for this reason we have hope and confidence that we will be with Luke again.

Luke’s family will be celebrating his life privately.  Cremation was private.
