Ralph Leonard Hopkins, age 73, of Harrisburg, passed away at UPMC Pinnacle Harrisburg Hospital on Wednesday, May 5, 2021.  Ralph was born on Saturday, December 27, 1947, in Harrisburg to the late Ralph "Red" M. Hopkins and Alma (Evans) Hopkins.  In addition to his parents, Ralph is preceded in death by his sister and two nephews.

Ralph’s survivors include his daughter: Gina Elizabeth Liddick of Harrisburg; his granddaughter: Noelle; and his former spouse: Susan Hopkins of Harrisburg.

Ralph retired from Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 2016, after many years of service working in the maintenance department of the Capitol complex. He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. Ralph liked to hang out at The Paradise in Mechanicsburg and have a great time with his friends. He adored his granddaughter, Noelle, and loved to spend time with her; shopping at Broad Street Markets in Harrisburg.  He will be missed greatly by his family and friends.

All are welcome to join Ralph’s family on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville.  Public assembly at 1:45 p.m. will be followed by a committal service with military honors at 2:00 p.m. with Celebrant Patti Vogl officiating.
