Robert “Bob” Walter Gorinski

Robert “Bob” Walter Gorinski, age 44, of Mechanicsburg, passed away peacefully in his home on July 8, 2021, after fighting a courageous battle against cancer for 18 months.  Bob was born on Wednesday, July 21, 1976, in Tacoma, WA to Robert J. Gorinski and Denise (Minick) Gorinski.

Bob’s survivors include his wife of 20 years, Amy Marie (TenEyck) Gorinski; his five children: Luke Gorinski, Owen Gorinski, Ben Gorinski, Maggie Gorinski, Claire Gorinski, all of Mechanicsburg; his parents, Robert and Denise Gorinski of Acme, PA; his brother, Tyler Gorinski of Acme, PA; and his beloved canine companion, Luna.

Bob graduated with high honors from Slippery Rock with a degree in Exercise Science and continued onto Graduate School.  He was employed by multiple out-patient orthopedic clinics as a Physical Therapist.  Eventually he determined that his passion was in helping athletes excel in their various sports and he was gifted in this endeavor.

Most recently, Bob worked with Full Reps in Camp Hill and started his own practice, sharpening his focus on training athletes.  Bob was deeply respected and admired for his expertise as well as his character.  For fun, he enjoyed weight training with friends, making obstacle courses and spending time with his family.  He greatly enjoyed watching his children’s soccer games.  Bob was an amazing man, loved and respected by many.

All are welcome to come and greet one another on Saturday, July 17, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. until his Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 p.m., at Living Hope Church, 3030 Schoolhouse Road, Middletown, PA 17057, with Ken Mellinger officiating.
