Robert “Rob” Walter Frazier, age 75, of Mechanicsburg, passed away at home on Thursday, June 10, 2021.  Rob was born on Thursday, December 27, 1945, in Harrisburg to the late Robert Charles Frazier and Genevieve Laura (McKinney) Frazier.

Rob’s survivors include his wife of 43 years, Pamela “Pam” Kay (Fishel) Frazier; his two sons: Nikolas “Nik” Frazier, his wife, Rachael, and their son, Desmond, of Mechanicsburg; Viktor “Vik” Frazier and wife, Tiffiny, of Cumberland, MD; his sister, Genevieve Smink and husband, Joe, of Harrisburg; and several nieces and nephews: Todd Smink, Kaolyn Witmer, Kelsey Zeigler and husband Josh, Sheryl Brown and husband Christopher, Geoffrey Fishel, II and wife Tasha.

Rob graduated from Central Dauphin High School as part of the class of 1964 and from Penn State University. Rob proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He retired from Naval Support Activity in Mechanicsburg, in 2007 after many years of service working as a systems analyst.  He was a member of Lowther Manor Lodge No. 781 F. &A.M. in Lewisberry.  Rob had a passion for British Sports Cars and was a member of the Triumph Club, the MGB Club and the Austin-Healey Sports & Touring Club.  He was a whiz at trivia and watched Jeopardy religiously.  He was interested in trains and was an avid reader, especially military history.  Rob loved to watch videos of the Mummers Parade in Philadelphia to see all of the scenery, elaborate costumes and performance routines.  Rob could also be found watching hockey and college football on television.  His favorite hockey team is the Toronto Maple Leafs. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

All are welcome to join Rob’s family at his burial in Mechanicsburg Cemetery on Wednesday, June 16, 2020 at 2:15 p.m., where military honors will be presented by the Cumberland County Honor Guard.   Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life Open House on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Buhrig’s Gathering Place, 25 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055, (717) 766-3421 (next to Buhrig Funeral Home & Crematory).  Over 100 parking spaces are available; just look for the “Buhrig” parking signs in all of the parking lots.
