Scott Martin Forster, age 44, of Mechanicsburg, passed away at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania surrounded by his loving parents on Thursday, June 2, 2022.  Scott was born on Saturday, January 21, 1978, in West Point, New York to Col. (ret.) Larry Martin Forster and Linda Mae (Roessler) Forster.  Scott is preceded in death by his aunt, Marla (Roessler) Cook; and his feline companion, Diva.

Scott’s survivors include his parents Larry and Linda Forster of Mechanicsburg; his sister, LTC Sarah Louise Forster of St. Louis, MO; and his beloved feline companions: Princess and Hugo.

Scott graduated from Ayer High School as part of the class of 1996.  He was a very colorful person and provided a perpetual source of entertainment for his family.  Scott was also very artistic; he illustrated a comic book and built many model cars and motorcycles. His passion for learning allowed him to teach himself to repair computers and how to use CAD illustration systems.  Scott loved to cook and prepare delicious meals for his family. While Scott may not have shared his father’s passion for flying, he served as co-pilot on many cross country trips with his dad.  Animals were a large part of Scott’s life and his cats, Princess and Hugo, gave him much joy.  Scotts family and friends will miss him greatly.

Scott’s family will be celebrating his life privately with Steve Espamer officiating.  Burial in Mechanicsburg Cemetery in Mechanicsburg will be at the family’s convenience.

Contributions in celebration of Scott’s life can be made to Connect the World, P.O. Box 463, Camp Hill, PA 17001, www.connect-the-world.com.
