Teresa Ann (Gravino) Milletics, age 58, of Mechanicsburg, passed away unexpectedly at Geisinger Holy Spirit on Friday, June 7, 2019.  Teresa was born on Monday, June 13, 1960, in Hershey to Nicholas Anthony Gravino and Marlene Faith (Dietrich) Gravino.  Teresa is preceded in death by her sister, Cynthia “Cookie” Shaffer.

Teresa’s survivors include her husband of 23 years, David “Dave” Scott Milletics; her two daughters: Casey M. Stoner and her husband, Michael,  of Carlisle, Kristi Milletics of Camp Hill; her son, Scott Milletics of Carlisle; her two granddaughters: Mikaela Haag, Isabel Milletics; her mother, Marlene Gravino of Mechanicsburg; her father, Nicholas Gravino of Maryland; her two brothers: Nick Gravino and his wife, Nancy, of New Jersey, Troy Gravino of Elizabethtown; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved canine companion, Spencer.

Teresa graduated from John F. Kennedy High School as part of the class of 1978.  She earned her teaching license from Empire Beauty School in Harrisburg in 1980.  She worked as a cosmetologist, owned, and operated Paloverde Salon & Day Spa in Mechanicsburg for many years.  Some of her hobbies included, attending Hershey Bears games, collecting Barbie dolls, and buying and selling estate jewelry.  In her younger years, Teresa liked drag racing muscle cars.  A nature and animal lover; Teresa was passionate about her flowers and she enjoyed listening to the chirping birds. Teresa loved taking care of her family, and they will miss her dearly.

All are welcome to join Teresa’s family at her gathering of family and friends on Friday, June 28, 2019, from 1:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 2:00 p.m. at Buhrig Funeral Home and Crematory, 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.  Teresa’s family invites everyone to join them for a public celebration of Teresa’s life, hosted at the home of Michael and Casey Stoner, 3501 Spring Road, Carlisle, PA 17013, immediately following the service.  Cremation was private.
