Wayne Jackson Morrow

Always Well Dressed -

Wayne Jackson Morrow, age 73, of Mechanicsburg, passed away at UPMC Pinnacle West Shore Hospital in Mechanicsburg surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, November 25, 2020.  Wayne was born on September 15, 1947, in Hertfordshire, United Kingdom to Pamela Joan (Nicholson) Morrow and the late Virgil Jackson Morrow.

Wayne’s survivors include his wife of 29 years, Jewel La-June (McKeaver) Morrow; his mother Pamela Joan (Nicholson) Morrow; his sister, Dianne Pamela Morrow of Gulf Shores, Alabama; his son, Philip Scott Morrow of Woodbridge Virginia; his daughter, Jennifer Leigh (Morrow) Wiley and her husband Joseph of Winchester Tennessee; his grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Wayne graduated from Central High School in Bushy Park, England as part of the class of 1965 and from University of Maryland in 1991 with a degree in Business Administration.  After graduating from high school, Wayne embarked on a 24 year career in the United States Air Force, where he was able to travel the world.  Wayne later retired from the United States Department of State where he worked for Embassies around the world.  Wayne had a very calming way about him.  He was always a well dressed man and loved to wear hats.

Wayne loved to traveled, learning about different cultures, and trying new food.  Tabasco was one of his favorite condiments, he loved putting it on everything.  Wayne was very knowledgeable about computers, he loved looking up new places to visit and places to eat.  He loved watching sports and playing softball. His family will miss him greatly.

Wayne’s family will be remembering his life privately.
